Major minerals include calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium.

Trace Minerals

Important “trace” minerals include iron, cobalt, copper, zinc, molybdenum, iodine and selenium.

There are over twenty dietary minerals that are necessary for humans, but, the total number is still unknown.
